Care

Vacuum the headboard regularly with a soft upholstery attachment to remove dust and dirt. For stains, dab gently with a clean, slightly damp cloth – avoid rubbing, as this can affect the fabric's texture and color.

The fabric on the Johanna Headboard is not removable. If a more thorough cleaning is needed, we recommend professional on-site furniture cleaning or dry cleaning. Always follow the cleaning agent's instructions and test on a less visible area first.

Shipping & Returns

Available for delivery throughout the EU, Norway, and the UK. For deliveries to Norway, all customs clearance costs are included in the stated prices.

Delivery time

• Made-to-order furniture is normally produced within 6-8 weeks. During peak season, summer, and Christmas, production time may be slightly longer due to high volume and holiday periods at our factory.
  

Delivery and carrying service

• Throughout Sweden, you can choose curbside delivery, and in metropolitan areas (Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö), delivery with carrying service to a designated location is also available. The prices for this depend on where in the country you live and are displayed at checkout when you enter your postal code. Please note that carrying service does not include unpacking, assembly, or disposal of packaging.
• If you have ordered products from our accessory range in connection with a larger piece of furniture, such as a headboard, these will be sent as a separate postal parcel to your nearest post office agent.
• Be sure to measure doorways, stairwells, and other spaces that may limit accessibility upon delivery. As a consumer, you are responsible for ensuring that the furniture you have ordered can be delivered to the desired location. Returns due to limited space are handled as standard returns, where you as a customer will be charged for the failed delivery.
• Please note that you as a customer will be charged for return shipping and any new delivery costs if you are not at home or for any other reason are unable to receive your item at the agreed delivery time.
  

Archipelago deliveries

• For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery normally takes place to the last point accessible by road. If you wish for delivery further out into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or a pier on the island, this can in some cases be arranged for an additional fee.

  Please note that delivery to a private pier requires that the pier is accessible and safe for transport, and that the carrier can dock by boat.
  

Assembly

• All our headboards are generally delivered fully assembled in one piece (1 parcel).

Right of withdrawal and returns

• If your item was a stock item at the time of your order, you have the right to return your item within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be in unused condition, with undamaged packaging and all labels attached.
• For sofas, armchairs, headboards, footstools, covers, or other items that are made-to-order at the time of the order, the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from the date the order was placed. This is because the item is custom-ordered or custom-made. If you exercise your right of withdrawal more than 14 days after the order was placed, 30% of the product price will not be refunded.
• In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, we at MELIMELI offer an extended return policy of a total of 100 days on our furniture, subject to the same terms and conditions as the right of withdrawal. To exercise your right of return, the product must be in a saleable condition in its original, unopened packaging.
• If your product was a stock item at the time of ordering, the full price of the product will be refunded upon approval of the return. No shipping or return costs are refunded.
• If your product was instead a made-to-order item, 70% of the product price will be refunded, as the 30% deposit is non-refundable. No shipping or return costs are refunded.

• Please note that a deduction may be made if the value of the product has decreased as a result of it being handled more than is necessary to determine its characteristics or function. This may apply, for example, if the return conditions are not met, such as the product not being in "like-new" condition or the original packaging being damaged or missing.
  

Refunds

• Refunds are processed once the return has been received and approved.
• When exercising the right of withdrawal, the full amount for the product is refunded. Please note that if the item has already been shipped, the delivery fee is not refunded and you as the customer are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
• When returning an item, you as the customer are responsible for the condition of the item during return transit.
• For furniture, the return shipping fee is the same as the shipping price you paid when ordering and receiving your furniture.
