Care

For all MELIMELI furniture, dry cleaning is recommended. Our linen blend is a living material that changes and becomes more and more beautiful over time.

To extend the life and maintain the comfort of your seat cushions and back cushions, regular care is essential. We have gathered some simple tips to ensure your cushions remain soft and supportive.

FLUFF REGULARLY

Seat cushions and back cushions should be fluffed once a week. For seat cushions, it works best to stand them on their edge or tap them from the side. Back cushions should be fluffed by placing them flat and then fluffing or tapping them.

TURN THE INNER CUSHIONS

To distribute pressure evenly, turn the inner cushions in both seat cushions and back cushions approximately every six months.

VARY YOUR SEATING POSITION

Another useful trick is to swap the positions of your back and seat cushions occasionally, as we often tend to sit in the same spot on the sofa. This helps to even out wear and tear and extends the life of the cushions.

The prices for this depend on where you live in the country and will be displayed at checkout when you enter your postcode. Please note that carrying in does notinclude unpacking, assembly or removal of packaging.
• In some parts of the country, you can also choose assembly with your delivery. This is subject to an additional charge and applies to our sofas, armchairs and footstools, which are assembled by delivery staff on site.

Archipelago deliveries

• For deliveries to the archipelago, delivery usually takes place to the last place accessible by road. If you wish for further delivery into the archipelago, for example to a ferry terminal or jetty on the island, this can in some cases be arranged for an additional cost. Please contact our customer service at info@melimelihome.sewhen placing your order and we will investigate the possibilities and provide a price proposal. Please note that delivery to a private jetty requires the jetty to be accessible and safe for transport, and that the transporter can dock with a boat.
